Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage in an ancient healing practice with its roots tracing in India. The doctor Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha (over 2500 years ago) from northern India is believed to be the founder of this healing art.

Thai Yoga Massage works with invisible energy lines that run through the body. Similar as in Yoga Philosophy the human constitution consists of five bodies -“Pancha  Koshas” ( physical body-energy body-mental body-chakras system-spirit). Each Body-Kosha interrelates with the others. Pranamaya Kosha is the energetic body and it consists of a system of energy lines called Nadis through which vital life force energy runs.  Thai Yoga Massage works along the most important of the energy lines and acupressure points that are found across the lines.

Thai Yoga Massage restores the flow of energy, releases blockages and prevents sickness due to a blocked flow of energy, relaxes and restores well being.

It uses manipulation with hands, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, a small rounded wooden stick and cream or oil.
